Thanksgiving Fire Threatens Several Homes In Towson
The Providence Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire just before 2 a.m. Thursday.

TOWSON, MD — A wind-driven fire in a wooded area threatened several homes in Towson Thanksgiving morning. Despite the high winds, crews were able to contain the fire located near the 800 block of Post Boy Court.
The Providence Volunteer Fire Company responded just before 2 a.m. to the a report of smoke in the area. Additional resources were called, and crews worked to extinguish the fire.
No damage to homes was reported, officials said.
