Towson Crime: Burglar Smashes Restaurant Window
An assault, attempted robbery and two burglaries were reported in Towson recently, according to police.

TOWSON, MD — Two burglaries and an attempted street robbery were reported in the past two weeks in Towson, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. Cash and scooters were taken, officials said.
Two scooters and accessories were stolen from a residence in the 8200 block of Alston Road. The burglar got in through a screen door sometime between 7 a.m. on Sept. 21 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 22.
The front window of Towson Best Chinese and Sushi Restaurant was smashed, and cash was taken from a register inside the business. The burglary in the 500 block of York Road happened at 3:06 a.m. on Sept. 18.

There was an assault and attempted robbery in the 6400 block of York Road. A stranger assaulted the victim between 4 and 5 a.m. on Sept. 15, demanding property. The victim, who had no property at the time, was able to get away.
