Towson Crime: Burglars Pry Restaurants, Residences, Medical Building
Jewelry, laptop, TVs and cash have been stolen in recent Towson burglaries, according to Baltimore County Police Department.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department has provided the following information about recent incidents in the Towson area.
There was an attempt to break into the Healthcare Services of Maryland building in the 1200 block of East Joppa Road. Someone tried to pry open the front door but was unsuccessful. The burglary attempt occurred between 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 6 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 9.
The front and side doors had been pried at Cheezy's Deli in the 800 block of Gleneagles Court. The attempted burglary happened between 9 a.m. on Jan. 6 and 8 a.m. on Jan. 9.

Jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 7900 block of Ellenham Avenue. The front door to the residence was forced open in the burglary, which occurred sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Jan. 5.
A laptop was stolen from the 200 block of Rodgers Forge Road. The apartment was burglarized when someone came in through the front door between 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 1.

Cash was stolen and two cash registers were damaged in a burglary at Papa John's Pizza in the 1500 block of East Joppa Road. The suspect broke a window to get into the restaurant around 5:30 a.m. on New Year's Eve.
Two televisions were stolen from the unit block of Lynfair Court. In the burglary, the suspect forced entry into the residence between 5 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 10 a.m. on Dec. 31.
The police department's Jan. 4 crime trends report included this about Towson: "Since Dec. 2, there have been four auto thefts and one attempt in the Deanwood community of the Towson Precinct. There has been no new related activity since Dec. 27."
