Towson High School Threat Not Credible: Report

A social media post reportedly directed a threat toward Towson High School.

TOWSON, MD — A threat on social media that centered around Towson High School was reportedly deemed to be not credible. The Baltimore County Police Department investigated the threat along with administrators from Baltimore County Public Schools, Fox 45 reported Thursday.

News of the threat came a little more than a week after Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan unveiled the Safe Schools Maryland tip line.

Trained technicians from the Maryland Emergency Management Agency are now receiving calls from the tip line 24/7. Each tip is then assigned to local school safety personnel to take action.
