Towson Hosts Ted Cruz Rally
Republican Senator Ted Cruz will appear Monday afternoon for a campaign rally in Towson.

TOWSON, MD – Republican Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz will appear in Towson Monday afternoon.
The Towson American Legion Post 22 is hosting Sen. Cruz at 1:30 at an event that is open to the public, with tickets available via Eventbrite.
The afternoon appearance comes on the heels of a morning meet and greet in Bethesda with the Texas senator along with former Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina.

Cruz's visit to Maryland coincides with early voting, before the state's primary on April 26.
According to recent polls of Marylanders, Cruz ranks among the top three favored Republican candidates. New York businessman Donald Trump leads Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Cruz, according to an average of the four most recent Maryland presidential primary polls, the last of which was released April 13. The average of the four polls, not accounting for margin of error, was 40.8 percent for Trump, 25 percent for Kasich and 23.8 percent for Cruz.

Maryland’s primary election will be held Tuesday, April 26; polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day. Along with Maryland, April 26 is primary election day in Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
Early voting in Maryland began Thursday, April 14 and runs through Thursday, April 21. Polling places are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. See a list of the 2016 primary early voting sites.
The Cruz rally in Maryland will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 18, at the Towson American Legion, 125 York Road, where doors open at 12:30 p.m.
