Towson Student Charged in Terrifying Home Invasion: Police

Police said student knew the victims, who were tied up in armed robbery.

A Towson University student is charged in a home invasion so harrowing, one resident jumped out a second-floor window to escape, police said.

Etienne Lamont Ralay Seldon, 21, of the unit block of Acorn Circle in Towson, is facing multiple charges: four counts of conspiring to commit armed robbery; home invasion conspiracy; possession with the intent to distribute drugs; and conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute.

The victims were his acquaintances, according to Baltimore County police.

Police allege that Seldon drove two D.C. men—David Thompson, 24, and Demencio Trevon Wilson, 20—to Towson and rented a hotel room for them at the Days Inn in the 8700 block of Loch Raven Boulevard.

Before 2 a.m. Sunday, Thompson and Wilson entered an apartment in the 400 block of Campus View Drive armed with a gun, demanded drugs and money and tied up four the people inside, police reported.

Three of the victims were students at Towson University, according to Baltimore County police spokesman Cpl. John Wachter.

One resident placed in a bedroom by himself jumped from a second-story window to escape, then contacted police, according to the report.

Police arrived as the two suspects were on their way out of the apartment with stolen items, the report said..

Thompson and Wilson were charged Monday, while Seldon was charged Tuesday, according to court records.

Police said Seldon was released on $250,000 bail.
