Towson Student Shot, Injured After Basketball Game: Report
Student-athlete John Davis was reportedly non-fatally shot in a drive-by over the weekend.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A Towson University basketball star was reportedly shot and injured in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, over the weekend.
Towson University senior John Davis had stayed in town after the Tigers beat Drexel University, 69-65, on Saturday.
He was at his family's home for a celebration of the birth of his son when he and a 16-year-old were shot and injured outside, according to a statement from Towson University obtained by ABC 2 News.

Davis was treated and released from the hospital, and it was unclear what his status would be for the rest of the basketball season, the statement from Towson said.
Davis, 22, was grazed in his right knee at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to Philly.com, which reported police had not determined a motive in the shootings.
