Towson Times: Movie Theater Moving Out of Towson Commons

The AMC movie theater at has outlasted nearly every other retail tenant in the much-maligned complex, but the axe is about to fall, the Towson Times reported Thursday, as new owner Capmark Finance decided not to renew its lease.

The theater's last day is May 15. AMC had been on a month-to-month lease for the eight-screen space.

A representative for Cushman and Wakefield, the real estate brokerage for the property, told the Times they are talking with several other potential tenants and that Capmark plans an overhaul of the space there.
