A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. TOWSON, MD - Ukazoo Books has reopened after <a href="https://patch.com/maryland/towson/ukazoo-moving-out-race-pace-moving-dulaney-valley-road">closing</a> its Towson location last fall. The bookstore opened the doors to its new shop on Loch Raven Boulevard this week.

Ukazoo buys and sells books, focusing on alternative, hard-to-find and out-of-print titles. The store is located in the complex on Loch Raven Boulevard at Joppa Road, near Baynesville Bike Shop. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday – Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
