Weather Call From Baltimore County Public Schools For January 7
BREAKING: Baltimore County Public Schools made a schedule change due to Tuesday's anticipated snow.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools will close early because of the winter weather expected to hit Tuesday afternoon, officials said. About 1 to 3 inches of snow may fall starting in the afternoon in Baltimore County, which is under a winter weather advisory, according to the National Weather Service.
All schools and offices will dismiss two hours ahead of their usual time Tuesday, Jan. 7.
After-school and evening activities are canceled, according to Baltimore County Public Schools.

The Baltimore County Board of Education meeting has been postponed from Tuesday. Its open session will begin at approximately 5 p.m. Thursday at the Greenwood Campus, 6901 N. Charles St., Building E, Towson. Afterward, the board will meet in closed session.

Carroll and Howard county schools are also dismissing early Tuesday.
Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford and Howard counties as well as Baltimore City are under a winter weather advisory from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
