Weather Call From BCPS For Wednesday, Feb. 20

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools and school offices will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Officials made the announcement Tuesday night.

All after-school and evening activities will be canceled on Wednesday, according to Baltimore County Public Schools.

Officials cited inclement weather in making the decision.

Baltimore County is under a winter storm warning from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, with the National Weather Service calling for 3 to 6 inches of snow and a light glaze of ice.

Snow in the morning will mix with and change to sleet and freezing rain by early afternoon, then rain Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
