York Road Closed in One Direction Due to Gas Leak: Baltimore County Officials

TOWSON, MD — A utility issue is snarling traffic in Towson on Wednesday afternoon. York Road is closed to southbound traffic because of a gas leak, according to Baltimore County officials. Northbound traffic is not impacted, officials said.

Around noon, the county reported that York Road south was closed. Traffic is being diverted from southbound York Road onto Fairmount Avenue.

There was not an estimated completion time available for the repairs, officials said.
