Upper Marlboro Man Sentenced to Life in Prison
Weldon Gordon, 34, was sentenced to life for conspiring to kill a witness.

An Upper Marlboro man was sentenced to life in prison for conspiring to kill a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) witness, reported CBS DC.
Weldon Gordon, 34, was convicted of killing 32-year-old Andre Hayes. Hayes was set to testify against Gordon in a drug case. According to prosecutors, on November 1, 2008 Gordon instructed his girlfriend to befriend Hayes and lure him to a house where Gordon later shot and killed him.
