A Peek at National School Lunch Week at Cranberry Station Elementary (VIDEO)

National School Lunch Week was celebrated in Carroll County Public School Oct. 10 through Oct. 14. Patch spent some time in the cafeteria of Cranberry Station Elementary School talking to students and staff about healthy eating.

Cranberry Station Elementary School Cafeteria Manager Peggy Vincent said that even though they work year round to promote healthy lunches and breakfasts, that this week really focuses on educating the students about eating from the five food groups.

In the accompanying video, several students also shared a little about their eating habits with Local Editor Kym Byrnes who gave them a hard time about knowing the difference between fruits and vegetables.
