Families can also explore a haunted schoolhouse in Hampstead, a child-friendly corn maze and hayride in New Windsor, and the ever-growing Westminster Halloween House near Carroll Hospital, with lights most evenings through the season.

β€’ Woman, Dog Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Maryland I-795 (clayconews.com) β€” A 31-year-old Westminster woman, Madison Cecille Davis, and her dog were killed while trying to cross southbound I-795 near Mt. Wilson Lane after her car reportedly ran out of gas on the shoulder. State police say a Hyundai Sonata struck them, closing the interstate for about three hours while crash investigators and other agencies responded. The investigation remains active.
