Cheryl Humbert, R.N., receives Carroll Hospital Center’s February DAISY Award

Cheryl Humbert, R.N., was recently presented with Carroll Hospital Center’s February DAISY Award. A nurse at the hospital for 38 years, Humbert was nominated for her exceptional care and for her compassion towards a fellow co-worker following a tragic loss. 

“Cheryl is an exemplary nurse who genuinely cares for all her patients and co-workers. She always goes above and beyond to ensure she treats everyone with the dignity, respect and compassion they deserve,” Stephanie Reid, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., vice president of quality and chief nursing officer, said.

Carroll Hospital Center’s DAISY Award was created to honor outstanding health care professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize their extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
