Located in the shopping center with Safeway and Subway, China Inn specalizes in all the classic American-Chinese favorites, as well as a few Thai noodle dishes. While there is room for an intimate sit down meal, China Inn is the perfect spot for takeout while you do some post-work shopping: place your order, do your shopping, and come back for your fairly inexpensive meal. Again, while there's nothing particualy special about the menu, China Inn has all the staples your family will want.

First Wok Carry Out

457 Baltimore Blvd. Ste A, Westminster, Md. 21157

(410) 857-3838

Solely a carry out venue, First Wok is ideal for family dinners and work place lunch breaks, considering its prime spot on 140 in a strip mall close to Gorsuch Road. The cooks at First Wok prepare the food quickly so that even if you only live 10-15 minutes away, there should be little waiting around for even the largest orders. The menu has limited selections, but contains all the essentials of Chinese take out.

Forbidden City Chinese

250 Englar Rd, Westminster, Md. 21157

(410) 848-8989

Forbidden City, situated near Papa John's Pizza and Westminster Station coffee shop, Forbidden City has one of the largest menu selections and best quality food of Westminster Chinese. It's an excellent stop for a sit down dinner for any occasion, from a first date to a business lunch. Forbidden City's takeout is quickly prepared and has excellent deals such as combo meals (fried rice, egg roll, entree).

Golden Palace Restaurant

405 N. Center St, Westminster, Md. 21157

(410) 848-2440

Golden Palace is another longstanding Chinese restaurant, located right near Dunkin Donuts. It specalizes not only in traditional Chinese dishes, but also authentic Hunan, Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine. They offer sizeable portions, using little salt (a downfall of many establishments) and offer a similar "lunch box" deal similar to Forbidden City, with soup, fried rice, and an egg roll, even pricing certain drinks at lunch price. It also offers a sit down area.

Though Super Buffet is average in terms of the quality of its food, and variety of take out, its true specality lies in Mongolian grill. Customers can approach a bar-like structure, choose noodles, different raw vegetables, meats and amenities and watch as a seasoned chef grills your items for you. You can choose from several sauces, and control the level of spiciness of your food. This grill is a part of Super Buffet's all-you-can-eat buffet.
