Bomb Threat at William Winchester Not Credible: Sheriff
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office says investigation is continuing into who made threat to school.
Administrators temporarily evacuated a Westminster elementary school due to a bomb threat Tuesday morning, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies learned that William Winchester Elementary School had received a bomb threat, the sheriff’s office reported.
The school on Monroe Street was cleared out, and authorities responded to determine whether there was any threat, the report said.

By 10:30 a.m., school activities had returned to normal, according to the report.
The investigation into who made the threat is ongoing, officials said.
