Today's Recipe: Bayou Bars!

Bayou Bars - a simple, delicious dessert for holiday parties!

Cake layer:

1 box yellow cake mix

1 egg

1 C. ground pecans

1 stick butter (1/4 lb.)

Mix ingredients and press into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

Top layer:

2 eggs, beaten until fluffy

1 8 oz package cream cheese

1 box confectioner's sugar (10x powdered sugar)

Mix top layer ingredients well and spread on top of the bottom layer. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Enjoy!
