The 120-voice of the Carroll County Children’s Chorus invites the community to their Winter Celebration, featuring two fine String Quartets from the Peabody Performance Academy.  The concert will take place on December 18 at 3 p.m. in the Baker Memorial Chapel at McDaniel College.

This year’s winter concert will feature new and familiar songs of Christmas and Hanukkah that will definitely please everyone in the audience.

Some of the pieces include “O Come All Ye Faithful: processional”, “Ding Dong! Merrily on High”, “Piglets Christmas”, “The Angel Gabriel", “Hanukkah Holiday, “Sanctus” (an arrangement of the Schubert piece), “Deck The Hall For All” and “Sleigh Ride”.  The public will also enjoy the delightful classical pieces like Wolfgang A. Mozart’s “String Quartet No.14 in G major, K.387” and Franz Schubert’s “String Quartet No.14 in D minor “Death and the Maiden”, performed by the String Quartets of the Peabody Performance Academy.
