Marketing Chocolate in a New Way
Presenter: Pete Truby, Salazan Chocolate Company
Introducing a new product is always a challenge. When it's a specialty item with enormous and well-known competition, it takes a new kind of message. Pete Truby, founder of Salazan Chocolate Company in Eldersburg, has managed to create a cross-over hit with his new line of chocolate that he markets as an energy food for fitness enthusiasts. Chocolate connoisseurs will appreciate the ingredients like fresh sea salt and cocoa beans from the Dominican Republic. Join us for this month's presentation to learn how Truby's marketing efforts have garnered his company mentions in the Baltimore Sun, Baltimore Style, and Details Magazine and now his chocolates have been picked up by major grocery chain Wegman's.
If you can join us, please RSVP to cpiazza@piazzacreativesolutions.com.
