On Tuesday, March 6, 7 p.m. at the Finksburg Branch of Carroll County Public Library, “The Faith Club” a book/ topical discussion group, provides an opportunity to view and discuss BILL MOYERS JOURNAL PBS film BEYOND OUR DIFFERENCES which explores the common threads that unify the world’s religious traditions.
In BEYOND OUR DIFFERENCES,religious leaders, politicians and luminaries in their fields give voice to the positive effects of spirituality and morality, focusing on commonalities spanning all faiths. While the negative — even violent — side of religion is widely reported, director Peter Bisanz documents the hope for positive change
and healing universal to so many.
Among the thinkers and leaders interviewed for BEYOND OUR DIFFERENCES are the Dalai Lama, Andrew

The film presentation and discussion will be preceded at 6:30 p.m. by a brief meeting of the Carroll County Interfaith Council as we discuss future resources for The Faith Club discussions held the first Monday of each month at CCPL, Finksburg Branch. The meeting and
the film presentation/ discussion are both open to anyone interested in participating. There are copies of the BEYOND OUR DIFFERENCES film in the Carroll County Public Library system available for personal viewing.
