An autopsy shows the man was intoxicated at the time of the accident in Westminster.

A Sykesville man whose body was found in a drainage pipe in Westminster last month was intoxicated when he died from accidental drowning, an autopsy has determined.
The Carroll County Times reports that Robert L. Hawk, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene on July 3 after the owner of the nearby Boston Inn discovered his body and called the police.
There were no signs of trauma and no evidence of foul play when Hawk was found, according to Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore conducted the autopsy.
