MD 140 Closed After Lumber Spill: SHA

WESTMINSTER, MD — All lanes of MD 140 are closed at an intersection in Westminster Tuesday morning due to a spill, transportation officials reported.

A load of lumber fell from a vehicle on MD 140 at MD 31/New Windsor Road, the State Highway Administration reported at approximately 10:15 a.m.

MD 140 was closed in the area as a result, officials said.

This is not the first spill of its kind in the past week. A load of lumber spilled on Interstate 95 north near White Marsh last Thursday.
