Police Release Photos of School Vandalism Suspect
William Winchester Elementary and West Middle School were broken into on Dec. 25.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with the vandalism of two Westminster Schools on Christmas Day.
Just before 3 p.m. on Dec. 25 sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglar alarm at the William Winchester Elementary School on Monroe Avenue, a news release reports.
Police said a lone white male, approximately 25 years old, with brown hair approached the school from the Englar Road side of the school with two bricks in hand. Three windows on that side of the school were shattered and the bricks recovered just inside the building adjacent to the damage and the suspect was observed on film walking through the school afterwards, according to reports.

Further investigation by deputies also found two small windows shattered at West Middle School, which is adjacent to the original incident. Damage is estimated at $1,200 police said.
Nothing was missing from either school and the two incidents are believed to be related.
