Westminster Police Search for Man who Robbed Oceanic Gas Station

The Oceanic gas station was robbed Aug. 23 by a white male suspect.

Police are searching for a white male suspected of robbing the Oceanic gas station at 398 Baltimore Blvd. just after 10 p.m. on Aug. 23. 

According to a news release, the suspect entered through the front door and purchased a candy bar.  When the cashier opened the register's cash drawer, the suspect jumped over the counter and assaulted the employee with his fists. 

The suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled on foot, headed north, according to the news release.

The gas station employee sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel. No weapon was displayed by the suspect.

  • White male, 25-30 years of age
  • 5'7” - 6'0”; 160-180 lbs.
  • Dark goatee approximately 1-2 inches long
  • Black hooded-style jacket, black pants, tennis shoes and black hat with large white decal and wearing aviator style-sunglasses.
