Feeling Sad, Angry, Guilty, Anxious? Changes in relationship with your mother?
Join us for a supportive group where daughters of women with cancer share their concerns, frustrations and challenges in a safe, non-judgmental supportive environment. The group format takes an informative, hands-on approach with activities, exercises and discussions led by Orly Katz, an experienced certified professional counselor, and co-lead by Mary Blackwood, a Family Counseling student specializing in family systems.
This Adult Daughters of Women with Cancer Group focuses on establishing and maintaining healthy relationships between mothers and daughters, as well as processing grief.
Join our Group and look forward to developing such skills as:
* Learning new strategies to cope with your grief
* Communicating more effectively with your family
* Identifying and coping with the changes in your relationship with your mother
* Reducing stress and anxiety
* Building a strong support system
