Come and enjoy “Requiem and Alleluia” presented by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Chorus in association with the East Avenue Ensemble of Chevy Chase. This one-time only performance will feature timeless choral music including the Faure Requiem plus selected Alleluias by Handel, Beethoven, Randall Thompson, and other noted composers. This one-time only. performance will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church, 10701 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda, Maryland.
The performance, which is sponsored by the NIH Recreation and Welfare Association and the American Music Performance Foundation, benefits the charities of the NIH Recreation and Welfare Association and NIH Charities, including Children’s Inn at NIH, Special Love, and Friends of the Clinical Center. Free parking, no tickets; donations welcome to benefit the NIH charities.
