MCPS to Stay Open Today, After-School Activities Canceled

Update 1:15 p.m.: After-school activities are canceled, according to the MCPS website.

Montgomery County Public Schools announced they would not be canceling or closing school early because of the snowstorm Thursday.

Prince George's county schools did receive early dismissal. A decision on evening activities, like the Wheaton High School holiday concert, will be made later in the afternoon.
