Photos: Wheaton Regional Park Under Construction

Find out how long the work will last and which areas of the park will be closed during construction.

Construction work on trails and pathways in Wheaton Regional Park is underway and will continue through May 15, according to Montgomery Parks.

The Wheaton train and carousel, the playground, and picnic shelters A, B, C and H will remain open during construction.

Picnic shelters D, E, F and G will be closed during construction.

Restrooms are also expected to be closed during the week of April 8 until April 15 while water pipes are replaced. Port-a-johns will be available for park visitor use during this time, according to Montgomery Parks.
