What You Need to Know About Metro: May 6

If you're using the Metro for non-commuting fun this weekend, here's what going on on the Red line and beyond.

• Single-tracking on the Red line from New York Avenue to Rhode Island Avenue, from 9:30 p.m. Friday to closing on Sunday. At those same times, there will be single-tracking between Grosvenor and Twinbrook.
• Single-tracking on these two sections of Red will continue during the weeknights from 10 p.m. until close.
• From 10 p.m. Friday to close on Sunday, there will be single-tracking from Ballston to West Falls Church on the Orange line and from Van Dorn to Franconia-Springfield on the Blue line.
