North Shore ice cream stand shutters for good

Owners of Dairy Witch on Boston Street in Salem said the stand will remain closed this season for the first time in 74 years.

Longtime restaurant chain closes all Mass. locations

A national restaurant chain has shuttered all of its Massachusetts locations and appears to have gone out of business.

While no official announcement has been made, the Smokey Bones barbecue restaurant has closed its Massachusetts locations in Taunton and Tyngsboro.

New food court debuts in Mass.

Novo Marketplace, planned for 122 Brighton Ave., will hold a soft opening on May 1, according to its official website. The roughly 20,000-square-foot space will bring multiple food vendors under one roof, featuring 16 permanent stalls and three rotating pop-up spaces.
