Popular pretzel shop debuts latest Mass. location
Wetzel's Pretzels opened its newest location inside the Walmart Supercenter at 25 Tobias Boland Way in Worcester.
The business is best known for its hand-rolled soft pretzels, bite-sized Wetzel Bitz, pretzel-wrapped hot dogs and specialty items including cinnamon and pepperoni pretzels.
New gelato, coffee shop opens on the North Shore
Lil' Zitelle Gelato Bar and coffee shop opened in the former home of the Polonus Deli in Salem.
The shop also offers an array of candy, cookies, chocolates and other sweet treats.
Mass. ice cream shops offering $1 frozen yogurt
Van Leeuwen Ice Cream will offer $1 frozen yogurt during three launch events across Greater Boston this September.
Customers can get a small frozen yogurt, excluding toppings, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Harvard Square shop on Thursday, Sept. 17, The Street at Chestnut Hill shop on Friday, Sept. 18, and the Seaport shop on Thursday, Sept. 24.
Five new restaurants could be opening in this Mass. city
Five new food spots could be coming to Worcester following approvals from the city's licensing commission.
The Coop, Not Ya Mamas Vegan Cafe, Maaz's Chicken, Pida Pizzeria and Tropical Chicken Flavors all received unanimous approval for a Common Victualler license at the Worcester License Commission meeting Thursday morning.
