Co-owners of Row 34, chef Jeremy Sewall and Shore Gregory, recently announced their fifth Row 34 location coming to the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston’s Kenmore Square, 498 Commonwealth Ave., in 2025.

The oyster bar opened its original location in Seaport in 2013, but have since opened spots in Cambridge’s Kendall Square, Burlington, Massachusetts, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

The Kenmore Square location is expected to open in summer of next year.

It's a return to the neighborhood for Sewall and Gregory, as they were two of the founding partners of Island Creek Oyster Bar in 2010. Sewall was also the first to work in the Hotel Commonwealth as executive chef of Great Bay in 2004.

"Returning to Kenmore Square is surreal, without a doubt. In a million years, I don’t think I could have predicted this happening," said co-owner Chef Jeremy Sewall. "We’ve been lucky to have seen the neighborhood throughout its many iterations and are honored to be a part of its next chapter."
