Duxbury Infant Dies Days After Attack That Claimed Siblings

The mother, Lindsay Clancy, 32, is facing charges including homicide, strangulation and assault.

DUXBURY, MA — The 8-month-old toddler severely injured in a Tuesday domestic violence incident in Duxbury has died, Plymouth County officials confirmed Friday.

Callan Clancy was flown to a hospital in Boston Tuesday night after his mother, Lindsay Clancy, 32, attacked the toddler and his siblings, according to Plymouth County officials. Cora Clancy, 5, and Dawson Clancy, 3, died Tuesday.

All three children were most likely strangled, Cruz has said.

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz had previously announced he would charge Lindsay Clancy with two counts of homicide, three counts of strangulation and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. The mother was reportedly experiencing postpartum anxiety before the Tuesday incident.

Clancy attempted to die by suicide on Tuesday, but was hospitalized. She has been in police custody since Wednesday.
