Free Birthday Lobsters At This Boston Fish Spot: MA Cheap Eats

MASSACHUSETTS — If you're feeling like living it up on your birthday, one Massachusetts restaurant can help you live out at least half of your champagne and lobster dreams.

Summer Shack, with locations in Boston and Cambridge, is running a special in September for those celebrating their birthday.

With proof of ID, diners at both Summer Shack locations can swap out the birthday cake for a complimentary 1 pound lobster.

The dine-in only special runs through Sept. 30 for both lunch and dinner.

Summer Shack opened 20 years ago in Back Bay, and the restaurant offers a modern spin on the classic New England fish shack.

The raw bar case holds 2,000 pieces of fresh shellfish and Summer Shack's oyster shucker has won countless shucking competitions in and around the city.
