Here's How Much Snow Fell In MA

The storm dumped up to 7 inches in parts of the state.

MASSACHUSETTS — A storm dumped snow and freezing rain across the state Monday. The highest reported snowfall total was in Sterling, which got 7.8 inches.

More than 16,000 customers were still without power as of Tuesday morning, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. The hardest hit areas were Franklin County, northern Worcester County, and northern Middlesex County.

Several school districts delayed or canceled classes Tuesday.

The winter weather will continue for parts of the state with another storm rolling through later in the week. A winter storm watch is in effect for central and western Massachusetts from Wednesday morning until Thursday morning.
