MASSACHUSETTS — The warmest temperatures of the year are on the way for Massachusetts. Things will begin to warm up Tuesday with temperatures in the low 70s.

Then they'll climb to the high 70s by Thursday with the hottest weather predicted for Friday. While forecasts disagree on exactly how hot it'll get, there's general consensus that highs will hit at least 80 degrees.

The forecasts do have a couple of other things in common: There's minimal risk of precipitation this week, so expect sunny skies for the rest of the week into the weekend. Also, all forecasts say that after Friday's high heat, temperatures will fall by at least 10 degrees Saturday.
