MA State Police Seek Tips After Infant Girl's Remains Found
The infant girl was found Tuesday night outside an apartment building, according to state police.
REVERE, MA — Police are investigating following the discovery an infant’s remains outside a Revere apartment building Tuesday night, according to state police. Revere police responded to a call at 6:23 p.m. at a multi-unit building at 86 Dolphin Ave. in the city's Beachmont neighborhood after a man found the remains near the building's exterior.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took custody of the remains to conduct forensic examination.
Police determined the infant was a female, who was at or close to full-term, and who likely was white or light skinned, according to state police.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is completing a post-mortem examination of the infant to determine the cause and manner of her death. State and Revere police are working jointly on the investigation.
A resident who made the discovery said the infant's remains were in a grocery bag, according to NBC10 Boston.
