Longtime Shrewsbury eatery closes for good

Jimmy's Tavern and Grill in Shrewsbury closed last Sunday, the restaurant announced on social media. The casual American restaurant and sports bar operated at 50 Boston Tpke. in the White City Shopping Center for 15 years.

New Hampshire bar and restaurant to open in Mass.

A New Hampshire-based bar and restaurant chain with live music is coming to Salem. The Goat Salem announced it is “finally about to open” at 311 Derby St.

Neighborhood eatery eyes opening in Central Mass.

Café Eidy is planning to open at 643 Chandler St. in Worcester. The restaurant is expected to serve dinner during the week and brunch on weekends.

The eatery describes itself as a neighborhood restaurant offering dishes influenced by flavors from around the world and made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

Costco prepares for major expansion with new Mass. location

Costco, the massive, membership-only warehouse club plans to open 33 locations during fiscal 2027, including five relocations, according to The Hill.

At the same time, a proposed Costco warehouse in Southborough would include a roughly 167,000-square-foot warehouse and a gas station with 15 pumps, according to documents filed with the Southborough Planning Board. The location is slated for 21 Coslin Dr.
