Light Up Seaport is a part of Snowport, the winter holiday activation at the Seaport.
Also this weekend, Winter Fest debuts at Hood Park in Charlestown, transforming two acres into a winter wonderland.
The holiday activation features family-friendly activities like ice-skating, an artisan marketplace, a whimsical toy workshop, a life-size ice castle and gingerbread house, along with spaces for adults, like the Après Ski Veuve Clicquot Gondola Lounge.
“We set out to create an experience that feels like you’re stepping into a storybook, where every corner brings a new moment of magic,” said creative director Carl Rugato.
Katie Kwiatkowski, director of events and marketing at MNM Restaurant Group said she views Winter Fest as more than a festival.
“It’s a celebration of community, seasonal traditions and the beauty of winter,” said Kwiatkowski.
