MA Authorities Warn Of Fake University: Reports
Massachusetts Central University claims to be ranked in the top 2% of universities globally.
BOSTON, MA — Massachusetts officials are warning about a Boston-based "university" which they say isn't actually a university at all.
Massachusetts Central University claims on its website to be ranked in the top 2% of universities globally and an online university which offers an "extensive range of majors precisely designed for professionals and working adults" with a 95 percent placement rate within the first year of education.
However, not a single one of the school's listed accreditors—of which the school claims to be 45% Phd holders—could be found on the United States Department of Education’s website.

The Massachusetts Department of Higher Education was first made aware of the fraudulent school's website in 2021, after which the site was shut down after a cease-and-desist order, The Attorney General's Office confirmed to Patch.
However, the website has apparently since resurfaced.
