MA Shop Brews Up Free Coffee For Dancing Customers
Nearly 7 million TikTok users have watched customers at Coffee Milano Café in Middleborough get their groove on for a free brew.

MIDDLEBOROUGH, MA — A Massachusetts coffee shop has quickly become an internet sensation after offering customers free java for showing off their best dance moves.
Last week, the staff at Coffee Milano Café in Middleborough invited customers to take part in a toe-tapping promotion by posting a sign on the door letting customers know if they danced for five seconds as they walked in, coffee was on the house.
The result was a compilation of joy-inspiring dance routines that have since garnered nearly 7 million views on TikTok.

"Dancing is good for the soul.. and a free coffee! This made our day!" cafe staff wrote in the video's caption.
In an interview with CNN, cafe owner Josh Rashid told CNN said staff had only started creating short, playful TikTok videos four weeks ago when he decided to shake up their marketing strategy. Since the dancing compilation was posted, the cafe’s TikTok account gained more than 10,000 followers.

“We’re in a digital world and word of mouth is great, but at the same time, we’re glued to our phones,” Rashid told CNN. “It just shows us how powerful social media is, and as a business owner, we have to adapt and do what we can.”
TikTok users flocked to the video's comments to show their appreciation for each Moonwalk, Sprinkler and booty shake.
"Let's normalize 'dance for discount days' at all businesses," one user wrote.
Another praised it for bringing positive vibes to the platform.
"This brought tears to my eyes!! Why??? Because I’m so tired of the negative on TikTok and finally see something positive!!! These are happy tears!!!"
In a poll shared on the cafe's Facebook page, 99 percent of customers urged the business to make dancing for discounts a monthly event. Rashid agreed, he told CBS News. Keep an eye on the business's Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts, where Rashid will simply write, "Dance party tomorrow."
