This weekend brings perhaps the first reason of many in the coming months to try to catch a ferry to Nantucket, as the island's food and wine festival runs through Sunday.

The festival brings winemakers, food industry veterans and writers from across the country and the globe to Nantucket to celebrate the industry.

However, if a trip to Nantucket isn't in the cards, there's plenty to do around the state this weekend.
