New Restaurants Opening In MA In 2026

MASSACHUSETTS — Food lovers in the Bay State have plenty to look forward to in 2026.
From brand-new restaurants and food halls to grocery store openings, there are a ton of new businesses preparing to open their doors in Massachusetts this year.

Sorella (Burlington)
Sorella, an Italian concept by Tuscan Brands, will open at the temporarily closed Tuscan Kitchen location in Burlington. The eatery will be located at 2400 District Ave. and is expected to open this winter.
Sally's Apizza (Concord, Weymouth)
Sally's Apizza, an iconic establishment in New Haven, Connecticut, has plans to open two new locations in Concord and Weymouth this year. Sally's also opened restaurants in Dorchester and Woburn last year and has another in the works at Boston Seaport.

Eastern Edge (Cambridge)
Eastern Edge, a new multi-vendor food hall, is coming to Kendall Square. The 11,000 square-foot space will become home to a total of six vendorsThe location at 290 Main St. is set to open early this year.
Wetzels Pretzels (Worcester)
Wetzel's Pretzels, known for its fresh-baked soft pretzels, will open at 25 Tobias Boland Way in Worcester, the current site of a Walmart Super-center. The business told Patch that the store would open in the fall of 2026.
T Market (Natick)
An Asian market called T Market is in the process of setting up shop at the former location of a Wegmans in Natick. The new market at 1245 Worcester St. will serve fresh meats, seafood, produce, pantry staples, ready-to-eat meals, and authentic street food, according to its website.
Vivienne Coastal Mediterranean (Worcester)
Vivienne Coastal Mediterranean, the brand-new restaurant in Worcester that was forced to close after a September fire is on schedule to reopen. The eatery inside of the city’s Glass Tower at 446 Main St. will reopen in March.

First Watch (Boston)
First Watch, an award-winning breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot has officially opened its flagship location in Boston on Jan. 8. The location at 777 Boylston St. is the chain's second in Massachusetts, joining more than 600 restaurants in 32 states.
Ramen Spot (Boston)
Ramen Spot officially opened on Jan. 6 at The Lineup, a food hall at 250 Devonshire St. in Boston’s financial district. The pop-up joins a variety of dining concepts created by Michelin-starred chef John Fraser.
