MASSACHUSETTS — One person is dead and another injured after they were struck by a snow plow truck in the town of Norwood this past weekend.

Wife Killed, Husband Injured When Snowplow Backs Into Them In Parking Lot
The couple was reportedly walking through the MBTA’s Norwood Central parking lot at approximately 2 p.m. on Sunday when the driver of a Ford F350 truck attached with a plow reversed and struck them. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Nearly 2 Feet Of Snow Across MA As Winter Storm Warning Continues: See Latest Forecast
Up to two feet of snow fell across Massachusetts — with more coming on Monday — as schools and municipal offices were shut down across the Bay State on Monday. A widespread swath of 16 to 20 inches of snow was reported from Cape Cod through Worcester. Forecasts were calling for an additional 2 to 4 inches of snow on Monday as a Winter Storm Warning extends through Monday night.

What started out as a sunny and comfortable contest turned into a blizzard by the game’s end. Both teams would struggle on offense throughout the majority of the game, and turnovers would prove to decide the battle. Clinging to that three-point advantage with two minutes and 11 seconds, Broncos Quarterback Jarrett Stidham threw a third-down interception to Patriots All-Pro Cornerback Christian Gonzalez. The Patriots only needed one first down to put the game away. After two straight runs by Rhamondre Stevenson, Maye kept the ball himself on third down and got the clinching conversion to send New England back to football’s biggest stage.

Massachusetts Man And Woman Bilked Banks Out Of $1.2M: Feds
William Shaw, 67, was indicted on four counts of bank fraud and four counts of aggravated identity theft, and Rosemary Parks, 59, was indicted on three counts of bank fraud and three counts of aggravated identity theft. The pair reportedly used fake driver’s licenses with the customers’ information but their own photos and presented bank tellers with withdrawal slips that listed the customers’ names and account numbers. The charge of bank fraud provides for a sentence of up to 30 years in prison, five years of supervised release and a fine of $1 million or twice the gross gain or loss.

2 Restaurants, 7 Chefs In Boston Named 2026 James Beard Semifinalists
Sometimes known as the “Oscars of food,” the awards recognize eateries and chefs who create exceptional food, food media content, and better food systems. The semifinalists announced on Wednesday are across 14 categories. The best chef semifinalists are in a dozen regions. In 2025, 96 percent of surveyed semifinalists reported a positive impact on their business and communities following their recognition, the organization said. Nominees will be announced on March 31, and winners will be announced at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards ceremony on June 15 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
