Pickup Driver Hits, Kills Pedestrian At Leominster Walmart

LEOMINSTER, MA — The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office is investigating a Monday night collision that left a pedestrian dead outside a Leominster Walmart.

Near 7:30 p.m., a pickup truck driver hit the pedestrian and continued driving up a hill before hitting a fence at the Jungle Road store. The pedestrian died at the scene, and the driver was taken to a local hospital, according to reports.

The crash occurred at the edge of the Walmart parking lot, according to images from the scene.

Neither police nor the district attorney immediately announced any charges against the driver.
