Survey: What Issues Are Most Important In MA Election 2022?
Patch is conducting a survey to gauge the level of enthusiasm of Massachusetts voters and what issues are of most importance to them.

MASSACHUSETTS — The political landscape will shift in Massachusetts after the 2022 election in large part because Republican Gov. Charlie Baker said he will not seek a third term.
The open race will also be without Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito, who said she won't run for Baker's seat. So far, this means former state Rep. Geoff Diehl, of Whitman, and Wrentham businessman Chris Doughty will compete in the Republican Primary in hopes of keeping the governor's seat red.
On the Democratic side, Attorney General Maura Healey and state senator Sonia Change-Diaz will run to try to make the office blue, in a state that although leans Democrat, tends to elect Republican governors.

The election isn't until November, and the gubernatorial race will certainly not be the only one on the minds of Massachusetts voters. So Patch is conducting an anonymous online survey to gauge voter enthusiasm and find out what other issues our readers in the Bay State most care about.
The survey, which is available here, will be open until noon, Monday, after which Patch will compile results. The survey is not scientific, but will give a general gauge of where Massachusetts Patch readers' heads are at before the election.
