Iconic retailer opening its newest Mass. store

Lilly Pulitzer will open its newest store at The Street Chestnut Hill at the end of the month. The lifestyle brand will be located next to Chilacates and Boll and Branch on 33 Boylston St.

The store will begin to offer sportswear, activewear, swimwear, accessories and home goods for a wide range of demographics when it launches on May 30.

Popular restaurant chain coming to large Mass. shopping center

Yard House is officially opening at The Shops at Blackstone Valley in Millbury. The modern American restaurant is expected to open June 15 at 70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike, according to its website.

The chain already has several Massachusetts locations, including restaurants in Boston, Burlington, Dedham and Lynnfield.

Massachusetts shoppers should check their local store before heading out to shop on Monday.

Many grocery, hardware, and retail stores will be open on Monday, though some stores may operate on reduced schedules. Big box department stores and shopping malls will generally be open.

Mass. Bar named No. 2 best local sports bar in the nation

A Fenway Park bar with a view straight into the ballpark has been named one of the best local sports bars in the country.

Bleacher Bar on Lansdowne Street in Boston's Fenway Park was named the No. 2 Best Local Sports Bar in the Country. That’s according to USA Today’s 2026 Reader Choice Awards.

Longtime MetroWest restaurant closes for good

A longtime MetroWest restaurant is set to close next month as its owners prepare to retire.

Carbone's Restaurant at 280 Cedar St. will close on June 27, owner Mary Ann Lorentzen told MassLive. The Italian-American restaurant has operated in Hopkinton since 1933 and has remained in the Carbone family for about 90 years, according to the restaurant's website.

Beloved New England eatery expands in Mass.

Tavern in the Square celebrated its opening in Fitchburg this week. The Fitchburg restaurant is at the site of the former Singapore Restaurant in Twin City Plaza.

The eatery operates 21 locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
