These Are The Best School Districts In Massachusetts, New Ranking Says

More than 20 school districts in Massachusetts received an "A+" grade in Niche's newest rankings.

MASSACHUSETTS — Weston Public Schools has been ranked as the best in Massachusetts in Niche’s 2025 Best Schools and Districts rankings released Monday.

The Weston district was among a swath of Massachusetts school districts that earned a mention in Niche’s ranking of more than 11,000 nationwide.

Niche gave Weston Public Schools a letter grade of "A+". Grades in specific categories were:

Academics: A+
Teachers: A+
Clubs and activities: A-
Sports: A-
Resources and facilities: A
Diversity: B
College prep: A+
Administration: A
Food: B+

The school district, which has 2,022 students in five buildings, received high marks from students, parents and teachers.

"Excellent school with challenging curriculum, immensely involved staff, and exceptional facilities (track and swimming pool, along with a plethora of sports fields). The school provides access to newspapers and databases, and conveniently has a late bus service," one reviewer said.

The rankings differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that it also includes input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.
